RETROSPECT REVIEW: UNCHARTED DRAKE'S FORTUNE

a shot from tv

about the game: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncharted:_Drake%27s_Fortune

Playtime: 8 hours on first playthrough (normal difficulty, collected 30 treasures) and a total of 30 hours for playing on normal, hard and crushing, as well as finding all the treasures, achieving all the medals and trophies in the game.

PROS
+Amazing graphics for a launch ps3 title
+Nice music
+Loveable characters
+Enjoyable Indiana Jones like story
+Love the witty dialog and superb voice acting
+It plays like a movie
+fun 3rd person gunplay and wall climbing
+replayability with the 61 treasures to collect, trophies, and lots of in game extras like alternate costumesand the making videos.

CONS
+TOO MUCH enemy waves, you have to beat like 8 then another wave of 8 comes again, then another 8... ESPECIALLY FRUSTRATING on CRUSHING.ugghhh.
+the sticky cover mechanic is too "sticky" mostly the reason I die a lot.
+some texture pop ins and screen tearing which is quite distracting because I look at the background rather than the foreground a lot.
+initial load time is between 30-45 seconds long while respawning load times take between 1-5 seconds.
+it's hard to throw a grenade accurately with the sixaxis controls.
+annoying fixed camera angles on some climbing sequences.
+short campaign length between 6-8 hours

FINAL VERDICT
a great but flawed game, but definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of action movies.
