I'm about 3/4ths into Metal Gear Solid 4 so the review may be finished by Monday. In the meantime gonna post some stuff that I found interesting in the gaming world. So today I saw this...
My Thoughts
If that's how the final game will look like then O M G! It looks amazing but the bottom right says not actual gameplay footage, but may be that's the aesthetic they are planning to have on the final product. The footage shown reminded me a lot of Heavy Rain with the buttons floating around you to do actions and stuff. As far as I know Rainbow 6 is under the squad-based FPS genre and for every subsequent release the franchise got worse. The dev team seem to be aiming to a more cinematic and more emotional approach which FPS jarheads nowadays lack and kinda reinvent the genre to get back at the COD/Battlefield fever spreading. Now my expectations are peaked by this footage, but as always its different if you actually play the game than seeing it on Youtube. What are your thoughts?
